Baptism

Celia on the beach

Sunday I was ready to be baptised for the very first time. I was sort of scared, but excited at the same time. I was so proud of myself when I came out. It was really exciting seeing all those other people and I was the sixth to be baptised — second out of the Junction group. My parents were proud of me and I was too.

My dad put some movies up here for you.

When I Grow Up

When I grow up, I want to be a politician like Ron Paul. He is hope for the USA; I want to be a hope for Canada. It’s going to be a lot of work, but I think I can do it. If you want to be a politician too, first you need to be brave and able to do it. Then ask your teacher about becoming class president. Then you can start creating your own clubs and get people to like you, and make sure you are able to respect them and what their needs are.

You can start when you are young, and then you’ll be able to know more when you are older.

I am ten years old, and this is what I want to do.

Most Girls

Most girls do not know that they can fight. Most girls say, “What? I can fight? No way — I’m so weak.” And they make complaints. They are afraid!

If they say and believe they’re weak and don’t even try to be strong, they are weak. But if they do push ups and exercise day after day, and say and believe that they can fight, they are strong. And they can fight and that’s what I believe.
